“Don’t spoil good weather by worrying about the storm”

I used to be an expert at worrying about the storm.

I used to be a worrier, a fixer, and a planner.

So many of you are too.

Since I was very young I was the “responsible” one.

Most of my female physician colleagues also took on the role of “the responsible one.”

And self-imposed the burdens that come with the word “responsible.”

It is possible to live without the burden of responsibility,

while also not being irresponsible.

“When you stop struggling you float.”

What energy, capacity, and fun might you enjoy if you stopped worrying about the storm and enjoyed the good weather while it lasts?

When you stop fixing and stressing and start being, things flow and happen.

Not perfectly but much more easefully and enjoyably.
