Curiosity, Strength, Beauty and Risk
Reflections, learnings, and epiphanies from Sagrada
What if being strong looks different than we think?
What if it is stronger to let go and be soft, present, and open for all that is —exactly as it is?
What if being kind to yourself and less than perfect is the most strong?
What if acceptance is strong?
What if showing up loving, compassionate, and flexible is a sign of incredible strength?
What if curiosity is strong?
What might you discover from a place of curiosity rather than judgment?
Kind curiosity allows much more flexibility. in your body and in your mind in yoga and in life.
When you show up curious about unexpected challenges they can be fun and funny.
What if we noticed all the beauty that is all around us and within us? Not from a place of toxic positivity but as a mindful gift to our neurons and hearts.
What if the risk is to live in the moment rather than looking back or forward all the time?
What if the risk is to let go of expectations, perfectionism, and control and find and allow the joy in what is here - in the moment? Exactly as it is?
Being you, sharing yourself, allowing yourself to be seen- exactly as you are also often feels like a risk.
Yet when you show up as your authentic self—-loving what you love, you laugh more, love more and it feels amazing.
That’s when the flow and connection and magic happen.
Sometimes connecting, despite differences feels like a risk.
And yet how good does it feel to find that connection?
Choosing to show up as me- being seen offering my authtictic gifts through mindful yoga and coaching retreats was a risk
and what beauty would have missed by me and others if I hadn’t listened to my heart?
Taking a risk to step out of your comfort zone, and invest in yourself, and take a pause,
to shift your perspective in this moment in time-
creates beauty.
Beauty that would have been missed by letting the edginess of taking a risk to do something new interfere.
Risks are growth.
Risks can be kind.
What mindful risks do you want to take today?
What incredible beauty might emerge as a result of taking a risk?
I wish you all a beautiful, curious, strong, and truly kind day.
And if you want to join me here in the spring - be kind to yourself, plan ahead, and hold a space. When you take the risk to make it happen- and show up with curiosity- beauty, strength, and magic are the result.
