“Invitations” Instead of “Challenges”

What if the thing that is bugging you is “an invitation” rather than “a challenge.”

An invitation to grow, shift, or soften. An invitation to connect.

An invitation to change the way you see.

What if the thing bothering you doesn’t have to change for you to feel better?

What if it or they is offering exactly what you “need” in this moment.

As Janet Archer offers:

Little did I know in the end you would be one of my greatest teachers. I love how life always gives us exactly what we need most. And life gave me you.

Invitations can be accepted or declined. They offer choice and agency.

When you see something as an invitation, you are not a victim.

Words matter.

Invitations evoke curiosity rather than frustration and fatigue.

How you choose to approach and describe your life matters.

When you choose to see things as invitations rather than challenges, your life experience shifts.

What are “invitations” to explore in your life right now?
