It's Ok To Take A Break
I have been practicing what I preach this week- listening to my heart and taking a break.
It is most important to me to show up authentically and be real.
Sometimes life throws out a lot of swirl.
And pausing and being present in the swirl is part of the journey.
Rushing to solve and fix and decide is tempting but it often means you miss the offered lesson and growth.
Even when you are a coach and/or are well-coached— opportunities, decisions, questioning and confusion, and life and relationship challenges still arise.
What’s different is how you react and respond.
And whether you choose to pause and be present.
And listen and learn.
Or resist and push forward.
What you practice grows stronger.
But it always still a practice.
I share about the beauty of intentionally showing up buoyant.
I share about asking what love would do
and asking what peace would do.
I share about listening to your heart rather than the mind chatter.
I share about the wisdom of trusting your inner knowing.
Pausing and being present is sometimes more uncomfortable than taking massive action.
But it is where the best lessons and most important growth often are.
It’s ok to take a break.
It’s helpful to pause your thoughts and notice and listen to what you feel.
A beautiful heart listens well and brings amazing things - and they don’t always feel good.
That’s the spot where the growth and full-spectrum living truly emerge.
