When Overwhelm is Expected
Overwhelm is expected. And when we expect it it isn’t as overwhelming.
Every female physician I know experiences this feeling with regularity.
It is part of life as a physician practicing medicine today.
We can make the overwhelm a problem and something to fix or expect it.
“Of course” we feel overwhelmed.
All of a sudden it’s much less of an issue. It costs much less energy and it’s much more solvable.
The dread of future overwhelm fades away.
Overwhelm is less overwhelming.
And we pause and breathe and focus on what’s next and whats in our control.
