BEING

Last week I spent a few days being.

Enjoying space, stillness, and nature at a favorite spot of mine on the California coast.

Shrouded in fog alternating with basking in sunshine.

Listening to delightful bird songs and ocean waves at sunrise and sunset and all day in between.

Lots of reflecting on the journey of life and love.

Where I have been, where I am and where I want to be going.

My pause was to celebrate an anniversary,

but this moment in time and history is a key moment in time for all of us to pause and be present and to consider where we have been, where we are, and where we want to be going.

Our “one wild and precious life” is happening whether we slow down and experience it and relish it or not.

What if you stopped waiting for something or sometime in the future and instead started living your life more fully today?

Even in the midst of who knows what,

what if you chose to make all 7 days of your week extraordinary in some way —right now?

What if you intentionally experienced some true joy and connection in each one?

What if you decided to be better together? With all the people in your life?

This work is the preventive care for a happy, healthy, connected, and joyful life and relationships.

If it sounds mushy or fluffy - realize its wisdom gleaned from the integration of an Ivy League education, a high-end medical degree, years of physician leadership and caring for children and families as a doctor, yoga and mindfulness teacher training, and life coach certification. So much training…. All added on to life training.

I share this with all of you in the hopes of making the world a better and even more beautiful place to be now and for the next generation.

Always my hope and passion
