Sometimes bad things put us directly on the path to good things
Life is not perfect by any means - that is not how it is supposed to be.
I like to call it “mostly good.”
“Mostly good” allows my brain to relax and enjoy the ride.
Getting Help
Getting help was never an easy thing for me. And I expect for many of you.
My mind likes to tell me I “should” be able to do it myself. That self-sufficiency is a measure of strength and adequacy.
What if you approached your life and work like yoga?
With deep breaths and mindfulness. With presence. With curiosity. With self-compassion. With loving-kindness and compassion towards others. Noticing the transitions.
Transitions
This was the theme of my yoga class tonight. It is turning into spring in California and my yoga class is held around sunset. I myself am also going through a big life transition.
